We have had a great first week back! I am excited to get the 3rd quarter started. The spring semester is full of fun and exciting events for our students and our community.
As we start the 3rd Quarter it is important to review our CREW expectations for our community. This week we reviewed expectations for behavior in the classroom, hallways, restrooms, cafeteria and playground. Students were able to articulate the meaning of CREW:
C-Caring and Kind R- Respectful and Responsible E- Excelling Everyday W-Working Together
Please be sure to ask your student about what it means to be CREW!
On Monday, students will be attending a science assembly presented by Brain STEM. Students will be learning about the scientific method during the “Sound On” assembly. Brain STEM will illustrate how sound waves travel and explore frequencies using unorthodox instruments.
This science experience was made possible by our kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Patterson! She was awarded a grant from STEM-Can Supporters, Inc. and arranged for our students to receive a fun educational experience to spark interest in the upcoming Science Fair!
Thank you Mrs. Patterson!
Thank you for getting your students here on time and ready to learn each and every day! If your student will not be able to attend school for either medical or personal reasons, please call our front office at 232-7402 to communicate with either Ms. Ilyssa or Ms. Kate.
Thank you, Kat
